Wars are planned to keep the fires burning and the wheels turning indiscriminately without rhyme or reason. We have by now seemingly reached the turning point where the massive bloodshed in Iraq has begun to hinder the political process and they are trying to defuse it. Once the precedent is set in killing babies through abortion the people become hardened to the reality of death and killing. This definitely encourages violence such as we are today experiencing in the attacks on average citizens such as the carjacking and the kidnapping.

We are getting 24 hours of driving rain from hurricane Jeanne and it sounds frightening. I can hear heavy wind and horizontal rain sweeping the house as water comes through the walls in places. The windows are rattling and stress is obvious as the night wears on with this predicted to last another 12 hours. However, by midnight the heavy rain ceased and
